According to TWITTER, the man who plays Mr. Bean is said to have died.

Nowadays, with the vast influence of media in our lives and with the widespread use of social networking sites it is quite easy to spread news, information, quotes, and even gossips. In America, people woke up today learning from the top news that Mr. Bean was dead. Rowan Atkinson known for his role as Mr. Bean in television and as Agent Johny English on movies was rumored dead. Fortunately, many have realized and learned that the news is false. However, how did it start?

A message posted on Twitter become a trending topic “R.I.P. Rowan Atkinson.” by a Filipino twitter user named Michael Robert Meras which he regretted afterwards because he was bombarded with questions and harsh comments because of his bad sense of humor.

He wrote: “Shutting down now. Sorry guys, RIP Rowan Atkinson was just a joke. Sorry for that matter, I never thought it would be that viral. We<3MrBean.”

The ❤ sign is that of a heart and the message means “We love you Mr. Bean.”

If you are going to search in Google the name Rowan Atkinson it would generate a lot of hits pertaining to his death so people do take these types of false news seriously!!!

Now even Wikipedia was fooled :p

Now that’s one way of getting fame but I am pretty sure that is not good publicity and there are better ways to get attention.  We are grown adults that should know our limits when it comes to sharing sensitive issues. Be responsible for your own actions.

Recently, I’ve heard stories that Japan is sinking literally to the Pacific Ocean. This is an alarming news that needed some clarifications and confirmations.

First, there are videos posted on YouTube showing a lot of “liquefaction” on some parts of the country. Liquefaction and I quote is the “transformation of a granular material (soil) from a solid state into a liquefied state as a consequence of increased pore-water pressure induced by earthquakes”. After the 9.0 magnitude earthquake hits Japan some of its coastline, rivers, and harbors became wet, sandy soil started jiggling, turning it from solid to liquid state. Heavy sand and rock sinks, while water and lighter sand bubble to the surface. The slurry spreads, often toward the water, and the surface shifts. Here are some of the videos of the said phenomenon:

Prophecy of the Sinking of Japan

Edgar Cayce (1877-1945), the so-called “sleeping prophet”, made a number of remarkably accurate predictions of the future. In 1934, Cayce predicted the beginning and end of World War II many years before it happened. He also predicted the end of Communism. In 1941 he stated “The greater portion of Japan must go into the sea.” – The Edgar Cacye Prophecies

According to Edgar Cayce reading 3976-15 “As to the changes physical again: The earth will be broken up in the western portion of America. The greater portion of Japan must go into the sea. The upper portion of Europe will be changed as in the twinkling of an eye …”

The Sinking of Japan the Movie

The creepy part of this story is that the Japanese created a movie that depicted Edgar Cayce’s prophecy. Here are some of the clips:

Conclusion:

As of today there is no definite evidence that Japan will be submerging to the sea in the near future. It will be a disaster of massive proportion if something like in the movie “The Sinking of Japan” would take place. Hopefully our scientist would discover a way to predict these kind of calamities sooner so that there would be fewer casualties.
