Hi, Mommy. I’m your baby. You don’t know me yet, I’m only a few weeks old. You’re going to find out about me soon, though, I promise. Let me tell you some things about me. My name is John, and I’ve got beautiful brown eyes and black hair. Well, I don’t have it yet, but I will when I’m born. I’m going to be your only child, and you’ll call me your one and only. I’m going to grow up without a daddy mostly, but we have each other. We’ll help each other, and love each other. I want to be a doctor when I grow up.

You found out about me today, Mommy! You were so excited, you couldn’t wait to tell everyone. All you could do all day was smile, and life was perfect. You have a beautiful smile, Mommy. It will be the first face I will see in my life, and it will be the best thing I see in my life. I know it already.

Today was the day you told Daddy. You were so excited to tell him about me! …He wasn’t happy, Mommy. He kind of got angry. I don’t think that you noticed, but he did. He started to talk about something called wedlock, and money, and bills, and stuff I don’t think I understand yet. You were still happy, though, so it was okay. Then he did something scary, Mommy. He hit you. I could feel you fall backward, and your hands flying up to protect me. I was okay… but I was very sad for you. You were crying then, Mommy. That’s a sound I don’t like. It doesn’t make me feel good. It made me cry, too. He said sorry after, and he hugged you again. You forgave him, Mommy, but I’m not sure if I do. It wasn’t right. You say he loves you… why would he hurt you? I don’t like it, Mommy.

Finally, you can see me! Your stomach is a little bit bigger, and you’re so proud of me! You went out with your mommy to buy new clothes, and you were so so so happy. You sing to me, too. You have the most beautiful voice in the whole wide world. When you sing is when I’m happiest. And you talk to me, and I feel safe. So safe. You just wait and see, Mommy. When I am born I will be perfect just for you. I will make you proud, and I will love you with all of my heart.

I can move my hands and feet now, Mommy. I do it because you put your hands on your belly to feel me, and I giggle. You giggle, too. I love you, Mommy.

Daddy came to see you today, Mommy. I got really scared. He was acting funny and he wasn’t talking right. He said he didn’t want you. I don’t know why, but that’s what he said. And he hit you again. I got angry, Mommy. When I grow up I promise I won’t let you get hurt! I promise to protect you. Daddy is bad. I don’t care if you think that he is a good person, I think he’s bad. But he hit you, and he said he didn’t want us. He doesn’t like me. Why doesn’t he like me, Mommy?

You didn’t talk to me tonight, Mommy. Is everything okay?

It’s been three days since you saw Daddy. You haven’t talked to me or touched me or anything since that. Don’t you still love me, Mommy? I still love you. I think you feel sad. The only time I feel you is when you sleep. You sleep funny, kind of curled up on your side. And you hug me with your arms, and I feel safe and warm again. Why don’t you do that when you’re awake, any more?

I’m 21 weeks old today, Mommy. Aren’t you proud of me? We’re going somewhere today, and it’s somewhere new. I’m excited. It looks like a hospital, too. I want to be a doctor when I grow up, Mommy. Did I tell you that? I hope you’re as excited as I am. I can’t wait.

…Mommy, I’m getting scared. Your heart is still beating, but I don’t know what you are thinking. The doctor is talking to you. I think something’s going to happen soon. I’m really, really, really scared, Mommy. Please tell me you love me. Then I will feel safe again. I love you!

Mommy, what are they doing to me!? It hurts! Please make them stop! It feels bad! Please, Mommy, please please help me! Make them stop!

Don’t worry Mommy, I’m safe. I’m in heaven with the angels now. They told me what you did, and they said it’s called an abortion.

Why, Mommy? Why did you do it? Don’t you love me any more? Why did you get rid of me? I’m really, really, really sorry if I did something wrong, Mommy. I love you, Mommy! I love you with all of my heart. Why don’t you love me? What did I do to deserve what they did to me? I want to live, Mommy! Please! It really, really hurts to see you not care about me, and not talk to me. Didn’t I love you enough? Please say you’ll keep me, Mommy! I want to live smile and watch the clouds and see your face and grow up and be a doctor. I don’t want to be here, I want you to love me again! I’m really really really sorry if I did something wrong. I love you!

I love you, Mommy.

Every abortion is just…

One more heart that was stopped.
Two more eyes that will never see.
Two more hands that will never touch.
Two more legs that will never run.
One more mouth that will never speak.

If you’re against abortion, reblog.

This is the third part of our escapades in Puerto Galera. The past two days were eventful but not compared on what happened during Black Saturday. We did a mini photo shoot at the roof top of White Beach resort and the pictures turn out well. We watched and recorded the fire dance presentation. Finally we hit the waves and enjoyed the beach and involved ourselves with a little raffle with prizes out of the ordinary. We partied all night long at Mikko’s Bar and we all got drunk and did things I could’ve never imagined we are capable of. And without further adieu here is our story.

Day 3 April 23, 2011 (Black Saturday)

It was early morning and I have a massive headache because of the hangover dealt by Tanduay Ice and Mindoro Sling. Most of my friends are already up and taken their breakfast. Luckily Hanz haven’t had his breakfast yet so I asked him to go with me. I had rice chao fan of Chowking, I’m really starving and I think Hanz just had buko shake from Fruitas.

When we came back they are just fooling around and exchanging jokes and remembering the things that we did last night especially the 7 Waterfalls sessions. Derick then suggested that we take pictures of ourselves since we have only a day to take snapshots of our memory here in Galera. In preparation for the pictorial, Euan wore his red contact lens that several times irritated his eyes. The red contact lens created an effect of vampire look on Euan so I decided to take pictures of him coming out from the closet for an eerie look but it turned out really funny because of the poses he made. Me, Hanz, James, Euan, and Derick decided to take it to another level by taking pictures on the rooftop where the sun radiates scorching heat but it is the perfect place to take our out of this world poses hahaha! I think it was around 12nn or 1pm. Enzo and Ton don’t feel like joining us because they are still sleepy so we went to the rooftop. We started to take pictures and it was fun. Hanz finally had his chance to execute his winning pose that he researched on the Internet. And for me I was able to do a jump shot that is really cool. Derick’s camera is really something, that’s the first time I held a camera that can zoom in 30x and it is without zooming lens. Hanz’s camera on the other hand is ok… End of sharing hahahaha!!! After the photo shoot we went back to the room. We just waited around 3pm so that we can head to the beach and have our yearly ritual, the Banana Boating.

In the afternoon we decided to hit the beach. There are a lot of people gathered around different booths, I guess they making the most out of their trip as well. While we are waiting for our turn in riding the Banana Boat we hang out in the booth of EZ and Frenzy. A man there tried to sell us a bag of goodies. It has towel, baller wrist band, some condoms and EZ, in these bags there is a piece of heart that will be used for the raffle later. If these hearts matches any of the heart tattooed on the models then we will win a thousand pesos and added gift packs. Hanz and Euan purchased each. Then it’s our turn for the Banana Boat. Unfortunately we have other people coming with us since there are only seven of us and the capacity of the boat is 10 so they need to fill those slots. I even remembered what Hanz said that we need to be careful for the three strangers are overweight hahaha! So we get on the boat and it started towing us towards the vast sea. It is really beautiful when you are looking at Puerto Galera in this view. The clean blue water keeps on splashing on our faces, the cool breeze of the wind can be felt through the skin, and the wave are just in rhythm… while in this thought the Speedboat pulling us makes a sharp turn and then suddenly we started flipping to the water. I know I kicked someone but I didn’t pay attention because we are laughing so hard we barely felt the pain when somebody hit you or goes over you, it’s just those moment that you want to laugh and laugh and laugh making you weak and you can’t barely get on the Banana Boat again. The speedboat did it two more times and we are totally exhausted. It lasted more than 25 minutes but it is worth it.

After riding the Banana Boat we hang out at the beach and we took a few more pictures for souvenirs. We also saw Aljheal and Oliver on the sand. There is already music playing and then Aljheal saw me dancing he challenged me for a dance showdown on the beach. We kept on laughing at each other and Hanz saw the showdown and it was crazy, we are making all sorts of movement and Aljheal kept on taunting me to give more but I had enough hahaha. We walked around the beach and watched a few people playing volleyball. While they are watching I decided to stay in the water for a while then I noticed something floating a shore. I grabbed it, fortunately it is not shit, it’s a thousand pesos. Hahaha I said to myself we will have a very good time later. I took a few pictures of the sunset and it was amazing, although it reminded me of the coming end of our vacation. We head back to our room and ready ourselves for the last party of our whole Galera trip.

We decided to eat first at Manalo’s Restaurant. While we are on our way we saw the fire dancers performing. I asked for Derick’s camera and caught their performance on video. After filming the fire dance we went ahead and finished our dinner. After eating we watched Choknat and other standup comedian. They are hosting the show sponsored by Frenzy and EZ. We stayed and watched for a while and we had fun. Some of the phrases that I will never forget are “Pabona ng Taon” and “1, 2 ready”. Now the show is almost done when Choknat announced that the last raffle is for those who have halves of the hearts, she asked them to come on stage and check if it matches the one tattooed on the models. Euan and Hanz hesitated to come up the stage having a fear of being insulted in front of many people. So I asked for the heart and go on stage, luckily it is a match and we won an extra 1000 pesos plus goodies.

We headed to Mikko’s Bar to enjoy our last night and we are planning drink and party till we drop. We saw Ateh and asked for a table and she immediately gave us a good spot. There is loud music, beautiful people everywhere and of course booooozeee!!! It is our night to unwind, to leave all problems behind and party… and I really mean party haaarrrddd!!! During the night we saw friendly faces, there’s Ian, Aljheal and Oliver, Allen, Kiko, Jeff and few more friends. Drink dance and enjoy, we literally knock ourselves out. After a few drinks it is as if the liquor is not getting into me but after a few more shots it finally hit me… BIG TIME!!! I was so drunk that I have very little memory of what happened that night. All I can remember is that, I talked to a couple and I really don’t know what I am saying and I remembered his partner telling me “Are you aware that you are talking to my partner”, I think I replied “Well the hell I care, I am not hitting on your partner”, then I left. One more thing, Hanz told me that a barangay council stopping me in throwing chairs. And then the inevitable happened, I threw up so many times that even my friends almost got into a fight when a girl tried to ridicule me. Haha I am just so lucky that they are there to carry me back to our room. Really I’ve never been so drunk in my life, only in Galera hahaha. Well that finally ended our last night in Puerto Galera and there is no moment that I regret.

A very cute movie depicting the early stages of falling in love and the happy moments the comes with it. It is funny and have a good story line not to mention the actors and actresses are good looking. A modern day “Ugly Duckling” story with a twist of Thai settings. A movie worth watching.

Here is the second installment of our trip to Puerto Galera. Nothing much happened on the first day but the second day is more eventful. We will be exploring Jurassic cave and know more about its rich background. I will discuss on how to bargain for really good souvenir items and novelties. Lastly, I will share to you and introduce a drinking game called 7 Waterfalls.

Day 2 April 22, 2011 (Good Friday)

It was 10 am in the morning and I am awakened by the sound of Euan’s voice, they are already awake. I don’t know what they are talking about because I am half awake. I am still drowsy and lack sleep, maybe because I went to bed a little late last night because I hang out a bit longer in the beach with Oliver and Aljheal while having a couple of drinks. Anyway, I overheard that they are talking about someone being caught on Jurassic. For those who don’t know, Jurassic is a part of Puerto Galera can be found way beyond the rocky beaches on west side if you’re facing the beach. Now the controversial part is that during night-time, many of the homosexuals staying in Galera are using the cave to meet and exercise sexual intercourse while inside the cave. I would like to hear more about the barangay officials arresting that homo but I am starving so I asked them if they had breakfast. Derick and Euan just had fruit shakes and most of us are already hungry so I went up and prepped myself and we headed to Manalo’s Restaurant.

Toooon Tulog!!!

At Manalo’s we enjoyed the free Wi-Fi, at first we didn’t know that there is an available wireless connection up until Hanz brought his iPad and started tapping away. We are able to update our status on facebook, emails, and shared some pictures too. The food at Manalo’s were amazing, their home-made fried chicken is very tasty, crunchy on the outside but soft and flavorful in the inside. They also made awesome soups and salads especially the side dish made from carrots, cabbages, onions, and dressings it was to die for. Some of us ordered pork kebob and grilled squids. The feast is just mouth-watering and on top of it the prices is so damn affordable.

Most of us headed back to room because they cannot bear the heat outside but for Hanz and me it is another opportunity to bargain with merchants of the souvenir shops. It’s quite easy to get good items in a cheaper price. You just need to know how to play along with the merchants and eventually their prices will start sliding down. Example, if the t-shirt with Puerto Galera print are priced as 120 pesos, you can still cut this up to 90 to 100 pesos by mentioning that the same design is sold lower on the other booth. A little acting that you would go back to the other store will do the trick and I assure you the prices will start sliding down.  After a little shopping we went back to the room to get some more sleep but on our way back I saw this beautifully hand painted henna tattoo at the back of a guy. It was a pair of wings and said to Hanz that I would like to have the same. Hanz disapproved it for it will only itch and turn nasty when it is about to be erased and besides if henna get into our bed covers I’ll be paying a fine of more than 1000 pesos so I agreed.

In the afternoon we still don’t feel like swimming at the beach so we’ve decided to play 2 Hits (tong-its with bets) a common card game played by gamblers here in the Philippines. After a few rounds it started to get boring then I remembered that Derick and I bought a bottle on Grand Matador brandy last night thinking of getting a drink in our room right after the sounds were halted by barangay officials. We didn’t have the opportunity to drink it so I challenged them to a game of 7 Waterfalls. For the description and rules about this game click HERE! We have so much fun and game was really exciting, too bad Hanz missed it because he need to do something but still it was a blast. After drinking half of the brandy we decided to stop and call it quits because almost all of us are already tipsy. So we rested a while and then prepare ourselves to go out in our second beach party night. That night we decided to eat somewhere else near the booth of C2. The food doesn’t taste as good as Manalo’s but it was edible enough to fill our stomach.

Since most of us are already tired and slightly intoxicated we spent much of our time watching television. American idol, Glee, and Prince of Persia are being televised. Some of us including me quickly drowsed off and rested for a while. At exactly 12 midnight, my friends woke me up so I hurriedly fix myself only to know that there are still no bars playing music anywhere. I even envied our neighbors on the other side of the resort because they have their own sound system, strobe lights, and loud music as if they have their very own private party.

We went outside and to our surprise is almost pitch black and dead silent. The only thing that you can hear is the loud chit-chat of people trying to enjoy themselves despite that there is no loud music playing. Although drinking was allowed it is not the same, unlike last year where everybody party wildly at the beach and the bar. With that scene we decided to continue playing 7 Waterfalls but this time we are going to do it at the beach and we will be drinking Mindoro Sling. Even without sounds we had a lot of fun and we just enjoyed each other’s company. We also saw Ian, he’s our friend long time ago that we rarely see, he introduced us to some of his friends. After a few more drinks we decided to head back to our room and rest. We enjoyed the night but still we are very disappointed to the way the management in Galera prevented us from having a good night fun. – End of day 2.

People drink because it is one of the common ways of socializing. More commonly people drink to experience the after effect of the alcohol, it makes them confident and relaxed. Whatever reason why we are drinking it is always best to drink in moderate to enjoy the most out of it. Well, I know one way of enjoying while drinking and that is by playing a card game. This game was introduced to me by my ex lover way back when we visited Pampanga when we were invited to experience Christmas there by one of my housemates. The game was so funny and so enjoying that we easily get a hang of it. The game is called “7 Waterfalls”. It is also known as King’s Cup or King’s Card Game or Ring of Fire.

Popularized by the universities of Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, and USA, it has been one of the favorite drinking card games of all.

What are needed?

  • Deck of Cards
  • 7 or more players
  • Alcoholic beverages such as wines, beer, or mixed spirits
  • Cups

What is the setup?

  • The group of drinkers will sit in a circular position
  • The cards will be shuffled and will be placed in the middle
  • Each member of the group will have their own cups filled with alcoholic beverages
  • Each member will then draw a card on top of the deck and depending on what type of card everyone must participate in the instructions corresponding to the drawn card
  • After each turn the cups are filled again with booze

What are the rules? (iamdarky’s version)

Ace (I have the power) – The player who drew the card assigns someone to take a drink

2 (Two for you) – The player who drew the card assigns someone sitting across to take a drink (that would be the player’s drink and his own drink), if in case there would be conflict between the person sitting across the player who drew the card must choose 1 only

3 (Three for me) – The player who drew the card is the only one who’s going to take a drink

4 (For the whore) – All women drink

5 (Make your own rule) – The player who drew the card can create any rule and if someone breaks the rule, that person that breaks the rule will drink. Example: Anyone who swears or uses a curse word has to drink; anyone who touches the table has to drink.

6 (Six for the Sticks/Dicks) – All men drink

7 (Seven Waterfalls) – To perform a “Waterfall”, each player starts drinking their beverage, depending on the direction of the game (whether you are picking cards clockwise or counterclockwise). No player can stop drinking until the player before them stops drinking.

8 (Eight for Mate) – All participants must drink

9 (Lucky Nine) – All participants must drink except for the player who drew this card

10 (Sing my song) – The player who drew the 10 sings a phrase, then the players go around in the circle singing the phrases that starts with the ending of the phrase of the previous player. No song may be sung twice, the first player who cannot come up with a song, or sings a phrase that doesn’t rhyme must drink.

Jack (Catergory) – The player who drew the jack picks a category such as “animal name starting with E” or “brand of television,” the players then go around in the circle saying items from that category, the first player who cannot think of an item or says something not in the category (or if all items have been exhausted) must drink

Queen (Answer a question with a question) – The player begins by turning to a random person in the group and asking a question. That player must then turn to someone else and ask a different question. If the person does not ask a question (responds), cannot think of a question quickly, don’t mention the name of the player being asked, or repeats a question, they must drink.

King (Community Cup) – An empty cup is placed in the middle of the table. Whenever a king is drawn, that person pours some of his or her drink to the community cup. When the fourth king is drawn, that person must chug the contents of the community cup.

Of course any drinking games have its own variations and it’s up to you to make your own variations of rules. Some people have completely different rules for the cards drawn. As long as everyone knows what the cards mean before the game starts, then it doesn’t matter what rules are being used.

Now in the next time that your party started to get boring, try this game out. It’s ideal for bonding moments with your friends, officemates, team building, occasions, or just by hanging out. Just bear in mind that drinking comes with responsibility and you should limit your drinking to moderate. Never drink and drive.

Four in the morning is the time we’ve decided to meet at the terminal of Buendia. We are all excited to reach our destination that is always a year in the making. Summer destination for every year during Lenten season for us is Galera. It is not the best place you can go for a summer vacation but for us it’s like the perfect place where we can unwind and forget about the life we have in the city. It’s like we are living a whole new world when we are staying here.

Day 1 April 21, 2011 (Maundy Thursday)

We all assembled at KFC Buendia and ate our early morning breakfast. The six of us Hanz, Yuan, Derick, Ton, Enzo and me decided to take the bus bound to Batangas port while James will just follow us there because he is having difficulty getting a bus to Buendia. After a small chit-chat and a few fooling around we stepped into the bus and off we go to Batangas Port. Almost all of us slept during the trip and after almost two hours we’ve arrived in our destination. Just like last year, the management in Batangas port is so unorganized. We are dragged in this very long queue just to get our ticket. It took us almost two hours before we can get into the waiting area where we waited another hour or two before we board the boat. James already caught up with us and there we waited in vain and then finally at 10:30 am we boarded the boat and our trip to Puerto Galera started. As I remember the trip went well at first but when we are already half-way our trip the waves started pounding our boat. Massive waves started to hit and water started to pour into the boat. I can still picture the look on Enzo’s face when salt water splashed down his face hahaha!!!

At noon, we finally arrived in White Beach Puerto Galera. There are already a lot of people sun bathing, eating grilled foods, and swimming in the clear blue waters of the beach. We are all starving but we need to check in first so we went ahead and checked into VM-Resort. Hanz’s PR skills managed to cut our room rent by half, one of his seaman friend paid for the reservation fee, cool eh?!? So we settled in, unpacked and freshen up, some of us bathe because it was so freaking’ hot and almost all of us are sweating even if the air conditioning unit is in full blast.

So we took our late lunch in one of our favorite fast food chain in Galera, “Foodtrip sa Galera”. They offer a variety of dishes. Tapsilog, tocilog, daing na bangus, itlog na pula, sausages, fried chicken, barbecue, sandwiches, and a lot more. And what I love about their meals is that they offer unlimited garlic rice. The prices are affordable too and they are open 24 hours.  On top of it, their waiters and waitresses are so accommodating and attentive, they value good customer service.

After a fulfilling meal, some of us head back to the room to get some rest. I and Hanz decided to start purchasing pasalubong. I personally shopped for myself because I brought too little wardrobe because I am planning on wearing sandos sold in Galera.  After shopping we headed back to the room to take some rest.

We didn’t get in the water on the first day instead we walked around the beach and check out the establishment and booths where we can hang out later. Of course walking in the beach would not be complete without the fruit shake of Fruitas and banana que. We also went to C2 Green Tea’s booth where they premium items just by purchasing their products. There is water pouch, floaters, bottle strap, mini tent, and of course my personal favorite the “poi” (I purchased 2 of these hehehe).

There is also the stage of San Miguel Beer and Tanduay where mini concert are held. The frenzy and EZ lubricant booth where they offer special prizes just buy purchasing. We also manage to see the Take the Test booth promoted by K Brosas too bad though we didn’t get the chance to see her. At the beach a lot of people are playing volleyball, covering each other with sands, building sand castle, sun bathing, dancing, have their hair braided, and having a massage. It’s like we are in total paradise where relaxation is the theme and everywhere there is food… food… FOOOOOOD!!!

Night time, we had our dinner at Manalo’s Restaurant where they serve super tasty crab and corn soup and calamari. We watched a couple of fire poi dancing at the beach. We ready ourselves to party parteeee!!! We headed at Mikkos Bar where we met “Ateh”. Ateh is a gay waitress and she assisted us in getting a good table to have our drink of the dreaded Mindoro Sling. We had a lot of fun, so many people dancing, cheering, and having a good time. We met a couple of familiar faces Aljheal and Oliver enjoying their drinks together with their friends.  The night is so wild, the beach is too crowded, and music is just nirvana. Unfortunately, with respect to the Lenten season the sounds were cut off at 2am in the morning. It is already Good Friday and the barangay officials in Galera directed the bars and establishment to observe silence. Disappointed just like the other crowd just finished our drinks and headed back to our room and call it the day. – End of day 1.

Recently, I’ve heard stories that Japan is sinking literally to the Pacific Ocean. This is an alarming news that needed some clarifications and confirmations.

First, there are videos posted on YouTube showing a lot of “liquefaction” on some parts of the country. Liquefaction and I quote is the “transformation of a granular material (soil) from a solid state into a liquefied state as a consequence of increased pore-water pressure induced by earthquakes”. After the 9.0 magnitude earthquake hits Japan some of its coastline, rivers, and harbors became wet, sandy soil started jiggling, turning it from solid to liquid state. Heavy sand and rock sinks, while water and lighter sand bubble to the surface. The slurry spreads, often toward the water, and the surface shifts. Here are some of the videos of the said phenomenon:

Prophecy of the Sinking of Japan

Edgar Cayce (1877-1945), the so-called “sleeping prophet”, made a number of remarkably accurate predictions of the future. In 1934, Cayce predicted the beginning and end of World War II many years before it happened. He also predicted the end of Communism. In 1941 he stated “The greater portion of Japan must go into the sea.” – The Edgar Cacye Prophecies

According to Edgar Cayce reading 3976-15 “As to the changes physical again: The earth will be broken up in the western portion of America. The greater portion of Japan must go into the sea. The upper portion of Europe will be changed as in the twinkling of an eye …”

The Sinking of Japan the Movie

The creepy part of this story is that the Japanese created a movie that depicted Edgar Cayce’s prophecy. Here are some of the clips:

As of today there is no definite evidence that Japan will be submerging to the sea in the near future. It will be a disaster of massive proportion if something like in the movie “The Sinking of Japan” would take place. Hopefully our scientist would discover a way to predict these kind of calamities sooner so that there would be fewer casualties.

My Perfect Summer Story

Posted: April 26, 2011 in Perfect World

I joined a short story writing contest about summer romance based on the online game Perfect World. I was able to create a good story but I don’t think it’s a winning piece but anyway I enjoyed writing it and hopefully you’ll like it.

Title: A Summer to Remember

Long time ago, right before the alliance of four kingdom of Pangu was made, a story that was passed down from generation to generation. A story filled with passion, hatred and love.

It all started with the clash of the two clans that dominated the land. The Sirens, the race of people with the ability to wield magical instruments and uses their voice to distract enemies, they also have the ability to heal just by singing a magical incantations from the ancient teachings of Bethanus. These beings love peace and fight only to protect themselves.
And then the Santokou clan, blade masters and expert in the field of hand to hand combat. Their main goal is to colonize and conquer lands to expand their territory. It was early dawn and there was a complete silence. No one expected that something horrible is going to take place. From the sky, a flaring arrow is fast descending, reaping the darkness and cold breeze of the wind, and it struck the earth, and it has begun. The arrow was the signal for the Santokou to attack, all out assault, all hands on deck. It was easy for the front liners to penetrate the village’s defenses for the Sirens were never expecting the attack. Some of the Sirens manage to push back and fight using their piercing voices to distract the enemies and take them down using bows and arrows. Realizing that they are no match to the magical voices of the Sirens, the Santokou’s artillery started to bombard them with petrifying fumes. Toxic gasses immediately spread out all through the village. Those unfortunate Siren warriors that inhaled the fumes immediately turned to stone. That situation brought the remaining lines of defense vulnerable for they cannot sing because once they open their lips it would mean instant death for them. Soon enough the whole village was occupied. It was a total lost, the village was burnt to ashes, and many of the Sirens are either petrified or injured. No prisoners were held but one, the chief of the village’s daughter Lirea, she possess the beauty no other that even the most barbaric warrior will be tamed with just the glimpse of her attractiveness. The general placed a cursed choker on Lirea’s neck to seal her voice to prevent her from using her power.

General Dilon brought Lirea to the Santokou village where she was presented as the war trophy from the recent invasion. The army was greeted upon arrival by the son of the general second in command, Lucian. He also noticed Lirea and he was overwhelmed by her enchanting beauty. Lirea was escorted to a chamber where she was held. The villagers rejoiced and celebrated for their new accomplishment while Lirea sealed herself in the oblivion of sorrow for the loss of her people and soon enough she fell ill.
He stood by her side from morning till dawn taking care of her, One night Lirea was having a dream where her father calling up for her and telling her to forgive the people who caused her so much pain and sadness and fight for surviva. He also warned her in the upcoming disaster the village of Santokou. By the time she wakes up she saw a man on the side of the bed looking up for her.

Lirea saw a sincerity and deep sympathy from Lucian’s eyes, she took the word of her father in her dreams, she ate to regain strength and think of a way to free herself from the grasp of General Dilon. She likes Lucian, he is different, and unlike his father Lucian possesses compassion and sincerity.

Days passed and she felt a lot better, thanks to Lucian’s care, one day Lucian asked Lirea to come with him, Lirea just smiled as sign of acknowledging his invitation. So they went on and travel by foot into the place where Lucian value so much. It was a lake where butterflies flocked and where the sun shines it’s most beautiful ray, it is after all the start of the summer. Lirea was relieved to see such gorgeous sight somehow the hatred in her heart subsided and in a split thought, she might be falling for Lucian too. Lucian holds her hands, look her in the eyes and confess his love for her. It was the perfect moment, the shadow of the tall trees swayed as they dance to the rhythm of the wind, the sun’s light reflecting in the water creating beautiful crystal like images that shines all throughout the lake.

Somehow all doubts about this man suddenly vanished in thin air and she nod as a sign of accepting his love. Lucian wrapped his hands around his neck and removed the choker his father placed to seal her of her power. For the first time after being captured she can now speak. As a reply to Lucian’s proposal, Lirea sang a song of love and dedicated it to Lucian. They spent the whole day in the lake. The two headed back home right before the sun sets.

Arriving to the village, the lovers were surprised on what they see. The village is under attack by the soulless headed by King of Dusk. Only then Lirea realized that during summer, her people used to sing an incantation to drive away monsters from their village. It seems the heat of the sun bothered the soulless and provokes them to go in a rampage. Without thinking twice, Lucian unsheathes his sword and started slashing minions of the soulless. King of Dusk is particularly strong and injured almost all of the brave warriors of Santokou. Lucian seeing an opening charged King of Dusk at the back but it was a big mistake for King of Dusk has faces on four sides of his head. Anticipating Lucian the King of Dusk launched powerful sealing spell at him and immediately immobilizing Lucian. King of Dusk head turns and raised his sword and without remorse he hacked Lucian point blank but from a distance it was parried by Lucian’s father. That action makes King of Dusk angrier. A mighty roar descends from heavens and stuns the general and then in a blink of the eye King of Dusk sword pierced into General Dilon’s chest. Lucian was shocked and can’t believe on what has happened, he wanted to help his father but he is still sealed. King of Dusk now turns to Lucian and aimed on finishing him but then suddenly a soft but loud song was heard not from a far. An ancient magical incantation that has been passed down from generation to generation by the Sirens was suddenly the focus of all beings. Lirea is summoning the Lightning God, focusing all her energy into one mighty voice she finally reached the end of the chant, “Fury of the Skies!!!” And then from above multiple bolts of lightning bolts hit King of Dusk electrocuting him dealing massive damage. Lucian finally dispelled by the curse immediately raises his sword and stabbed King of Dusk in the head and killing it. The warrior of the village was able to overcome the remaining monsters and drove them away. Lucian hurriedly attended to his injured father and comforted him. He was badly hurt and lost too much amount of blood, he is weakened. Lucian, confused and don’t know what to do just sob and waited for his father to die. Lirea knows that she could do something, she can heal the general but inside her mind she is hesitating. How could she help the person that caused her so much pain? She paused for a moment and then looks at Lucian’s face, it was sad. She felt awful realizing that she couldn’t be the same person that turned their back on people in times of needs. She also remembered her father’s message. She then began singing, the wounds of the general started to heal, the color of his face immediately turned normal, and he gained consciousness. Lucian was relieved and hugged Lirea thanking her for saving his father.

After a few days, the general was fully healed and the village is finally backed on its feet. Lirea and Lucian decided to be wed with each other. General Dilon acknowledging that, he presented the lovers a gift. The night before the wedding, his father told him about the secret cave where all the petrified Sirens were kept, he also gave his son the “Depetrifier” to restore the stoned Sirens back to their original state. Lucian was so happy and immediately tells his bride about the gift. After their marriage they immediately freed the Sirens from cave and went home to their village where Lucian and Lirea served as the new leaders. From there on the alliance between the two clans was fortified and was never broken. As for the lovers they lived a happy life and always reminiscing the summer where they declared their love for each other.

The world has always been fascinated by the fact that we are not the only intelligent being in this universe. We seek the truth about UFO, Aliens, Extra terrestrial, and other unexplainable phenomenon. If you are going to browse the Internet, you’ll find millions and millions of articles with regards to the topic . There are web sites designed to cater such curiosity of the public and feed their hunger in finding out the truth. Some are misleading, some are just gimmicks, and most are just pure science fiction. But what if there is truth behind all these, they wouldn’t be famous over the Internet if there is no source of speculations.

How about Area 51? Area 51 is a military base, and a remote detachment of Edwards Air Force Base. It is located in the southern part of Nevada in the western United States, 83 miles (133 km) north-northwest of downtown Las Vegas. Situated at its center, on the southern shore of Groom Lake, is a large military airfield. The base’s primary purpose is to support development and testing of experimental aircraft and weapons systems. Because of the tight military restriction on Area 51 its been targeted by conspiracy theories such as it was the containment area of a crashed alien space craft and a place where extra terrestrial are met in close contacts.

Recent post from YouTube shows that UFO sightings are more frequent and footage are a lot clearer. They are also very disturbing. It seems that during natural calamities or disaster, UFO sightings are more often captured on videos.  It really doesn’t matter if you’re a believer or skeptic its worth watching.
